Innovation is key to providing patients with the best care possible.

It starts with reimagining what’s possible, which evolves into new surgeries and treatment plans that change the field of neuroscience and the lives of patients globally. The Semmes Murphey doctors are constantly coming up with new ways to improve and save lives with cutting edge techniques and practices.

Dr. Adam Arthur recently treated a patient with a dangerous brain aneurysm with a new, noninvasive method called the WEB Aneurysm Embolization System. This was the first time the procedure was performed in the U.S., and he was able to save the patient’s life. She is now back to teaching her 4th grade class. The Semmes Murphey Foundation helps fund research and innovations such as these to help save lives.
